Re: I need to sell my 67 GMC stepside, where besides Craigslist?

Craigslist is full of flakes, and scammers. I always make my ad's clear that if they try to B.S. me, they will be ignored. Not the best salesmanship, I know, but it cuts down on the weirdos.

I also only accept text messages, so it's easier to weed out the real potential buyers from the jokes.

When I listed my old Porsche, my phone went nuts. I couldn't keep up with it. I told the
people that sounded serious a specific date to see the car because it was in storage and
I wasn't going to sit around all day.
When I got there, there was already one guy waiting for me and he started to try to negotiate the price down.
Then a second guy pulled up with a trailer, and the first guy said I'll take it. Full price. I have cash.

You just have to set your parameters. Don't deal with the idiots.

That's why I like text messaging, I never had to talk to anyone, I made it on my terms and I sold the car in a few minutes after I got to the storage.
