Now iam new to these trucks but have lowered other cars and have a lowered 65 iam working on now . So just practicle info here. You will have to run a different shock or mount unless you want the shock hanging way down under your axle or up high but I think your bed will get in the way. What I think you should do is make the swap and see what you have to work with. The kits are expensive for what you get and speedway has a ton of shock mount stuff in the circle track section. It's as easy as welding on a mount where you want it. They sell leaf spring mounts also or axle mounts. Just depends on your lay out and where you want it. My truck came with a swap mount kit and I think it's kind of ghetto and it mounts the shocks layed over really far and that's not as affective for performance. I'll move them when I get a chance. Lots of leaf spring resources in speedway circle track section. Hope this helps.
