Sorry for not being clear. Turning the photo may help. I put the test wire into the bolt hole and got it to come out under the headliner. (Next to those stupid crimp clamp connectors the PO used for trailer lights). That would be the green arrow.
I thought you wanted to get past the weld seam into the void area where the hinge bolts on. That is what all the red arrows were about.
