Here are the facts, from my perspective.
Complete top end rebuild 70,000 miles to date. Comp cams break in additive for first 5,000 miles. From there on out I have been running Valvoline VR1 non stop changing the oil every 2,500 miles.
So far so good, when I tear the engine down for the bottom end, which is in the near future will know more.
For what its worth...
The zinc ratings from that website are subject to ones own inspection. Valvoline sds sheets show 1.09 percent ZDDP.
