Figures, or someone would have. I pondered it when wheels weren't present and when they were I never thought to check. But they get thin at the bead, I do recall. Also, different type bead design between the two diameters.
I have one tire on that last set keep losing air. After a couple attempts by the lame tire store in town, second time they supposedly dressed the bead and used sealer, I went to a commercial tire place and they discovered a hairline crack between two slots...and no sealant nor any corrosion at the bead. I'll never even take a tire/wheel in my town's shop for a dismount. I am very done with them. Anyway, I had it repaired at an alloy wheel repair place ($150) who did an excellent job. All this to run them a few hundred miles. They were perfect on my unrestored survivor
