Emissions- how does one....
How can one find out what emissions equipment originally came on a truck? In my case an 85k20. The PO bought it in California but, he was not the original owner. It doesn't have any diagram under the hood, but it does have the SPID.
Please don't ask why I need to know, just help me find a way to know what it originally had. How do they know at the smog stations? Do they go off the VIN?
