Looking forward to pics., and great idea with that lumber. Did you get replacement panels, restored or use existing? Luck has it I'll use what I've got. They still look new or close enough, less the "chrome" tape coming off the plastic. Seems to be a simple fix. The interior on these trucks was built to last.
Speak of screws, try finding factory type 8-32s for the rear lenses. Yeah common 8-32s work, but from what I see, none are available with the "thread forming" tips, and the fit isn't as good. No shortage here however, I just lifted off the driver.
