That's correct. The bottom edge of the hitch is even w/the bottom edge of a sport bumper & the receiver (access hole in the LP box) is about .5 - .75" from the bottom edge of the license plate box.
I just went out & looked @ mine to verify this info. If you want, take a measurement from the bottom of the frame rail to the bottom of the hitch on yours & I'll compare w/mine.
