I have an odd update to this thread. My original post was 4 days ago. I was finally prompted to make that initial post because I'd received an email from Classic Parts THAT DAY saying the the part was still on back order, but they wanted me to know that they would ship the part as soon as it arrives from their supplier. The email also gave me the option to opt out and cancel the order if I wanted to.
Four days later (today) THIS showed up in the mail.
This thing must have shipped right after my post! It makes me wonder if someone from Classic Parts watches our posts here.
