It seems that a solution that is working well for some is to remove the float system and pump the "vent" from the FCC as a return line. This way the low pressure side is always recirculating fuel back to the tank and not allowing it to heat up as much. I am seriously looking at doing this and running a regulator at 4 psi. Since this is for my El Camino, I already have a hard return line back to the tank from the original charcoal canister. Make doing this really easy

I am disappointed that something so simple, has been a source of many folks headaches. I love the FCC idea but it seems it hasn't lived up to what it should have.

That is a good idea as that eliminates the biggest problem with the FCC. I don't think you would even need to regulate it if you did that as you would never be building any pressure.
