Engine year?
I need help identifying the year of engine I bought a 1985 chevy short box 4x4 which i though had the original engine turns out its not. the ID code behind the alternator is 11530088 T0311ccc. I can't get to the code on the bell housing. Any help would be great as I am at a stand still. The dipstick is on the drivers side. I believe it is a 305. Thanks
