Yep. All "Custom" options were ordered separately. No single option existed that would include ALL the fancy stuff. Even though the awesome Z81 Custom Camper option came close, side trim was not part of that package. The popular "Custom" sail panel trim was only included as a small part of the "Custom Appearance" option.
"Custom Cab" is easily the most widely used term that never existed. There is no such thing, and never was. The confusion results from the fact that the vast majority of bling items were ordered together. That is, if a buyer liked chrome bumpers, he most likely also sprung for the side trim, windshield trim, etc.
With this in mind, it's interesting to spot the unusual combinations that show up here and there. A couple examples are my own '66 Custom Camper which has all the fancy stuff, yet no side molding. Or conversely, my plane-jane painted bumper, single color '62 C20 with the fancy sides.
