The farthest vent from the evap on my 55 will go down to 40* after a few miles, I just wish that there was a higher fan speed or more CFM out of the three vents.
It is very hard to cool a 5 window ( all tinted and double/triple insulation on all metal in the cab) when the inside temp is 140*+
I think the V A system is a good unit but it does not work like fan speed in my 2003 GMC,
I am not comparing it to the new tech. just say'n!

It also helps if you can get the vents up as high as you can to your face so you can feel it "in your face"
I do have my systems charged by one of the best independent shops here in So Arizona and he says "that it !"
This is the hottest time on record since 1894 so stop Bi%&^*n, and it is cooling off today by at least 10* and yes that makes a difference!
