Its not so much a question of good or bad, its what came on all the GM coil spring front end trucks prior to 73. After 73 GM switched to the rubber bushings on 1/2 ton trucks. The 3/4 and one ton trucks stayed with the screw in bushings for at least a decade longer. The rubber bushings have a less harsh feeling when driving on poor roads and depending on your tires may be quieter. You didn't mention what year truck you have. It is possible to retrofit the rubber ones on to an earlier truck if desired.
