i had to fit an inter cooler on my pickup, so i gutted the oem grille. Then got some 1/2" conduit, bent it, welded it in and painted to match. Pics in my build thread.

Im now going to try and squeeze a 4" core intercooler that is substantially longer, i may just convert to a gmc front end which should free up some space..
