Re: 1949 frame swap
Ad me to this group, I have a 51 4000 series truck and a 77 1 ton dualie chassis that I hauled home after a guy gave it to me and loaded it minus the rear axle.
I'm still deciding if I want to put the one ton suspension on the 1-1/2 ton frame or swap the cab over to the other frame so I am interested. I have the title to the 77 frame and the 51 so paperwork isn't an issue. It's about the same amount of work either way.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
