You do realize that transmission and rear end gearing has more to do with fuel fuel mileage than engine selection? If you bought a truck with a 351, chances are, you bought it to haul heavy with 4.56 or 4.88 rear gears. Even if you had a 230 with those gears, it's going to suck fuel.
