My first thought, too. I was going to say I bet the parts departments will be flooded with orders and probably not a whole lot of surplus will be made. Watch Ebay for crazy prices.
I'm not as excited about this as I would have thought. I see it as it took 100 years for a truck to become something made for people other than those who need them. I'm surprised they don't show it with the 50th anniversary model, but I guess they wanted the colors to match. So, they show an LMC laden truck in a non-original color. Diamonds are the symbol for 100th anniversary. I guess they could have clear coated them
. Since there is no color for 100th, it would have been cool to redo the 50th paint scheme, just because.
Watch, now a broader base will become aware of the 50th Ann. trucks and we will see those become a highly sought after model as well as bouquo fakes.
