I think we all agree, look to Classic Parts or Classic Industries to see if replacement patch panels are available. Many of us have had the same issues at some point in time so see if you can salvage the sheet metal 1st by grinding down to remove the rust, if not, take your time and make your own, weld in, grind down and boom, you've done it yourself.
