Looking for some advice from someone out there that has done a LS/T56 conversion in a 67, or similar, pickup with a stock crossmember as shown above. Trying to get a definite answer on whether or not the T56 bellhousing will clear the stock crossmember. I already did a test fit with the engine and bellhousing only and the bellhousing clears the crossmember by maybe an inch (see crummy photo below). However, I am not sure how much the T56 will have to be angled to fit and I am worried the crossmember might interfere.

Anyone have experience with this? Would be great if I could know for certain if it will clear before I try and install the engine with the T56. Oh, I am using the CPP engine stands and LX Innovations motor mount adapters that allow me to move the engine forward/backward. Currently I have them set to put the engine as far back as possible (see photo below). Thanks!!!
