Re: anybody have an idea on cab weight

I can say a stripped cab is much lighter than I expected. I recruited three guys who could bench 1000 pounds between them. I took a rear corner, and I'm 5'11", 155 lbs. and a "senior". We lifted and all four busted a laugh.

Just guessing here, but seems close: Stripped cab is 300 lbs. Doors 45 lbs. each, door window & vent with regulator etc. is 32 lbs. per side, windshield 25 lbs., large rear window 15 lbs.

I developed an assembly guide (kit) for restoring this truck from the ground up, complete with details including full hardware descriptions. Much of the info. applies to all 67-72 GM. My build thread, with some info. about the assembly kit https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...d.php?t=730025
