NP203= full time 4x4, mostly aluminum, chain drive, 200 lbs (no thanks)
NP205= part time 4x4, came in every major brand of 4x4 truck at one time or another, cast iron, ~135 lbs, very popular & strong
T-221= part time 4x4, cast iron, came in chevy trucks from '60-'69, smaller than NP205 but about as strong, and yes it does have low outputs. Bigger brother the T223 was used in some older military trucks.
NP208, NP241= aluminum chain drive part time cases that were introduced in the '80s. I say no thanks.
NP200, NP201, NP202= part time, cast iron, very heavy, resemble the NP205 but are much older, and larger too. these came in some Dodge and International trucks, such as the M37 Powerwagon.
Dana 18, 20= cast iron part time cases that came in some jeeps, scouts, and selected first gen K5 blazers and early GM trucks, usually mated to 3 speed tranny.
Dana 300= cast iron part time, very valuable to offroading crowd, came in '81-'86(i think) CJ jeeps, and 1980 only Scout IIs.
if anyone can add to this, or make corrections, feel free
