Thanks Grumps. I was mostly concerned with the play (3/8" bolts in 3/4" sleeves) but it sounds like no problem. I just pulled the distributor today and observed as much as possible, but I've reserved myself to locate top center with the build up. Looking that info. up now to get a better understanding.

You lost me on lower the engine to the floor business, but I think you mean lower the block & bracket into the stand. Unfortunately I take things awfully literal

Short have mentioned, hopefully I'm through with this nonsense this week. My son and I are going to tackle it, so I can start the build already
