73 to87 came in both 1 1/4 and the light duty 1" rotors. When I bought my 66 I bought a crossmember out if a wrecked 80 model with dropped spindles in it. It had 1" rotors on it and 1 1/4 calipers. I put 1 1/4 rotors back on them in 6 lug. So it may be worth looking into swapping.
