What I liked about this was the fact it is a floater. if you break an axle you can call a wrecker and put it on a roll back and go home. With a 12 bolt or other rear ends, if you snap an axle your whole tire and all can come flying out at 70mph taking bed, frame, cab, whatever it wants with it. I've seen that happen to a few damn nice street rods. If I ever break the "2 ton" rear end I have now, this is whats going in it after that.
