I read somewhere the axle's were upgraded to more splines and the Gov-Lock was better than the older ones.I am planning to put it in my 87 C10.Will it bolt right in and will the ujoint yoke be the same?
The rear end should fit just fine. However, as far as the axle being upgraded to larger axle shafts I think that only applied to the front 10 bolt starting in (89?) The Gov-Lock is ok in a mostly stock application but it is 28 years old more and likely. So I would inspect it and make sure it doesn't grenade as soon as you swap it in.
