I have 2.5" Magnaflows on my '61 Bel Air sport coupe, carb'd zz454 BB. sounds good at idle, fairly loud when you hammer on it. Side exit before the rear tires, no drone.

I have old school 2.5" Turbo mufflers on my '65 Bel Air station wagon, 350 sbc w/carb - mellow & fairly deep at idle, not too loud when you hammer on it. side exit behind the rear tires, fairly quiet going down the highway. This one is my daily driver...
