You did an amazing and tasteful job on that buggy. You do GMC Trucks proud! Uh, your horn button is missing! (as if you didn't know) .

I just reminded myself of times others would look at my stuff (when I had show quality vehicles) and point out something like that, the one obvious flaw. My standard responses were either, "Nearly perfect, huh?" or "If that is all you can find wrong I'll take that as a compliment". On my Harley it would be pointing out the tiny scratches on the dash around the ignition switch from the key or the black mark on the exhaust pipe from my boot heel melting. I'd say, "I ride it" or if at a shoe, "This is a ride-in show".
