I use the roller tip comp cams steel rockers on my sportsman 2 heads. Probably doesnt help a damned bit but they were free from a relative who's project was cut free due to an unforeseen childbirth type incident . I have read that aluminum rockers last 30,000 or so on the street which is a pretty long time if you think of it especially on a special purpose vehicle that isnt daily driven. Ive used them a lot in the past and never had problems but then again I've never racked up that kind of mileage on a set. I really doubt some of the manufacturers claims of 30 or so HP by adding a set. They never do put up a side by side comparison as proof and I am dubious of unsubstantiated horsepower claims. The best ones seem to be the comp cams stainless rollerized fulcrum . You dont get the metal fatigue of aluminum and they are rebuildable. stamped streel rockers will be the longest lasting given adequate oil supply though.
