You guys are way over thinking this . The reason it was on the drivers side was so it would enter the throttle body on the drivers and exit the pass side to warm the the throttle body in cold climates . If you intent to eliminate the coolant in the tb just run it how ever you want . Does not matter , just as long as it is hooked up to get rid of the air pocket that can form in the head .
