I used the Altman latches on mine. It was a last minute decision so I bolted them on because the door frames and door jams were already painted. Looking back I wish I would have welded them in. I also purchased the power lock brackets from Altman and then bought a power lock actuator set (4 lock actuators, relays, and 2 remotes) from JC Whitney. About $75. I installed everything and they worked well. When you get in the truck just lock it with the remote. The lock brackets are a tight fit with the window. My passenger side was a little off and the window would hit the bracket. I was impatient and didn't feel like re-adjusting it, so I just removed the bracket for now. Someday Ill get around to getting it set up again. But the power lock feature does work well. I think you can still use the key to unlock the pass side door in case of a dead battery or some other electrical failure.
