Didn't buy these for my truck, but for a 94 Pontiac GranPrix. It's for the fog lamps. Manual said either H3 or 881 bulb, which turned out to be the latter. Exchanging them with the Ebay seller for 9005's which will work for my high beams on the Pontiac. I use the 9006 for the low beams on the Pontiac and they look nice. I have the round SilverStars on the 78 C-10. They sell the sealed beam SilverStar round ones and square ones for our Trucks.
