Could be vaporlock. How warm was it there on the days you had the problem? We have 10% ethanol here and it will start to boil in the fuel line at 190 degrees. We had a couple of 80 degree days and my truck sat down on me. I had a clear fuel filter and I could watch it boil and turn to vapor. Just a thought.
