You need to know that the plug you speak of has only two wires per side. The left side has a purple wire and a light blue wire, and the right side has a purple wire and a dark blue wire. The purple wires are for the parking lights and are common to both sides, and the blue wires are for the front turn signals.

The grounds are made by the light sockets mounted to the grill.

Look at the left edge of the diagram and you can see the parking lights between the headlights with the wires running as I described. The ground symbol is just off the sockets.
