Welcome to the club. I was (and still am) in way over my head when I got my truck. Had to learn a lot of new skills, and 5 years (?) later I am still working on it. Can't tell what kind of shape your floor is in, but after trying to repair my floor I ended up replacing the entire floor as a unit. If I could go back and do it from scratch (I would have bought a different truck) I would not have wasted time trying to repair the floor panels at my skill level, and would have bought the entire floor in the beginning.
I've made plenty of mistakes, but finally getting closer to the end.
