The stock master cylinder has one chamber .If you had a brake line let go no brakes
With the newer master two port if you were to loose a brake you still have other port to stop vehicle . front and rear are separated for this reason .
Trucks and cars had disc brakes without power boosters. Better with booster and equalizer valve.
