use a puller as often as you can. sometimes you can move the fan around and miss the water pump just barely, but if you are running a side tank rad and a 16" puller, you may not have the room.

alternatively, you can cut the core support at the edges to put the rad inside the support, GMCs are made this way because the GMC engine is longer.

do not use a pusher except: when you install the ac condenser if it is not sandwiched right to the rad with no air gap you will need a second fan on the condenser. not having a fan on the condenser will be tremendously hard on your AC compressor when sitting still (no air moving)
