water pump sizes
I know there are long and short pumps for our trucks, 67-72 are supposed to have short pumps but my 67 has a long one...sort of. From research I concluded the long pump should measure 7" from the block to the pulley flange. Mine measures 6 3/4". Why? Did the PO leave something off when he installed the pump or do I just have a bastard pump?
