The junction block on the fender was my problem when I first bought my truck. I drove it home and shut it off. I walked up to the house and went back 5 minutes later and it would not even click or turn the engine over. Then 1 hour later I started it right up. The next day it done it again and I wiggled the wire on that junction block and it fired right up.
I am glad you found your problem.
Wiring can be a nightmare sometimes.
