My uncle had a front axle out of a 78 3/4 ton Ford, it has discs on it and 10 bolts on the cover, is this also a Dana axle. Can it be transplanted into my truck so i can have discs up front? The price is right(free) so I thought it would be worth asking.

He also has an NP205 from out of the same truck, should I get if for a spare, I assume is would be the same?
