Plus while waiting for the gaskets, I needed to bypass the heater core. I could not find a 3/4" barb to 5/8" barb fitting.
So, here are a couple of fittings you should keep in your truck in case you need to bypass the heater core due to a leak.

Sharkbite makes the exact reducer, but not readily available in local stores.
