I have been lurking on this site for years. I have many projects, but have yet to start on any of them until now. It is a 1980 C20 Suburban (454 th400) that I plan to use as my tow vehicle. Plans include:
1. New tires
2. Tune-up
3. Aluminum high capacity trans pan
4. Aluminum differential cover
5. Trans cooler
6. All fluids replaced
7. Would like a very mild drop.
8. Overdrive like a gear vendors unit

I travel between MI and FL pulling a trailer, so reliability is my main goal with the best fuel economy I can get being 2nd on my list.
I would love to hear suggestions.
So far, all I have done is drop off some steel wheel vintiques rims I had to be powder coated. I ordered new cap, rotor, plug wires, plugs, etc as well. I'm also looking for a decent set of white 12" set of hubcaps... (I'll post in the parts section.)
