I'll be interested to see what you come up with as the factory parts book lists different part numbers for a 77 and a 79 mode. Yours may have a round snout on the end of the snorkel, which would be unlike the one for the 79 I'm looking for that has an oval shaped snorkel that connects to the flex duct that gets attached to the radiator support. Check what you have and let me know.
