Well!
After 30 minutes on the phone with summit support, we ran through everything thats been discussed here. Took the distributor cap off, all well there. Pulled plug wires and back on. Last step was to use the red button on the tach for cylinder adjustment. Suddenly it decided to work today and after adjusting it, shes running right!
Maybe because its a day before my birthday, or the man upstairs felt bad for me, it finally worked.
Thank you to everyone who gave me their input, I have no logical explanation, other than I did hook up a test light and the previous owner had it connected to a constant hot, so I switched it to IGN . But I cant make sense of why it didnt work last time I did that.
