I've seen others use -6 line with a 90 on the pump end, but instead of running directly toward the engine they go toward the front of the truck and loop them more to get under the fender.
Maybe the 6an 90's I had were "longer" but I couldnt get the "loop to the front" to work either......my inner fender was still too close. My backup plan was to bend the fender up to clear, but I ended up using the fitting and most of the tubing off the stock line and flaring a tubing to 6an fitting on. I used the black coated PTFE line from Russel. I had never seen that stuff before. It ended up looking like a stock line. Which I liked. I haven't taken a good pic of it yet, but you can barely see the tubing in this pic.
