I was doing some web surfing and came across a company called Team321. They've been doing Crown Vic swaps and IRS kits for years. They have a narrowed Crown Vic front crossmember now that looks kind of promising.
It looks like right now, it's just for the blue oval crowd, but I'm willing to bet they can modify for the narrow frames of our old 'bolts.
