If the fluid is as dark and nasty as what I just found in my truck let it drain into a bucket so you can add new fluid. Fluid is cheap and you will have to bleed your brakes anyway.

If it is the same size as I just found on my '70 it is a 3/8 flare for the tubes to the cylinders.
