I have 3 inch Flowmaster 50s on my 78 shorty, they dump straight down on the axle. It was installed by PO.
High school me would have loved them, now I am less a fan. I live in a quiet neighbourhood and I feel like a jerk every time I start it.
I don't like the volume, but I like the tone. Thinking of adding an H pipe and maybe putting some sort of diffuser on them too.
