Before the move I got started on making my door cards as I did want some degree of sound deadening. You could say I've carried away with the teak deck style but what the heck.
I have made sure everythign fits into factory screw holes so easy to put back to stock.
After making the templates I used two layers of birch ply sandwiched together with Epoxy. Slits were cut on the inside edges so the timber would bend to fit the profiles of the doors and side panels. I also hid rare earth magnets between the two layers to hold the panels to the side.
this may have ben a bad idea as iron filings are sticking to them but I am hoping when the car is finished there won't be much ground metal to attract
