Mine had a mice problem since it sat in a barn for many years before I could get around to restoring it. Once it was restored, after driving it around a bit, I noticed some leaves and debris poking out of the holes on the front under side of the hood. They had built a nest up inside the hood. With an air compressor and some patients, I ended up clearing out a bunch of leaves, small branches and pieces of plastic bags etc. Haven't had a problem since restoration other than cleaning out what they had done in the past.
